Doubletree Hotel Spokane City Center has started a $1.7 million renovation project that will include a complete transformation this year of the lobby and three floors of guest rooms. All of these areas will have new carpet, tile, furniture, a new bedding package, wall treatments, art and lighting. The remaining guest rooms will get a facelift with more renovations planned over the next five years. All standard guest rooms will have 32 inch LCD televisions and the suite parlors will have 37 inch LCD screens.
